Over the past (3) years, the staff, volunteer staff, parents and especially grandparents have dedicated valued time and resources to players across the Wiregrass Area.  This
team effort has not been ignored. Many members of the communities at large have embraced our work while some have frown upon our desire due to jealousy and hatred all
directed towards the makeup of the staff and the purpose of their mission:  Empowering Underprivileged Children To Play.  These potential players no matter their ethnicity,
or financial status deserve a fair chance to access the game we all love.   That said, it has been well published that 'USTA Southern and USTA Alabama' have disagreed with
our approach to grow the game of tennis due in large part to these potential players not fitting their economic model of Leagues, Tournaments and Junior Team Tennis Play.
However, those who were once in disagreement with our methods of growth which includes "Free Tennis Lessons" as an appetizer to Junior Team Tennis has now adopted
our thoughts.  The below links will display how the hard work of 'Wiregrass Tennis Association' has now encouraged our tennis leadership to change direction by joining our
"Growth Initiative" which calls for tennis growth to originate from the ranks of the underprivileged as showcased within their offering of "Free Tennis Lessons" listed below:

This good news have been followed by another act of concession by members of the USTA Eastern who have disagreed with the approach of the USTA Southern and USTA
Alabama in the face of 'clearly the right pathway' to growth. These individuals are baffled by why such growth has not been met with the offering of "Available Grants"  along
with logistical support which would accelerate a plan that should be used as the "National Model" of tennis growth.  The refusal of  the governing body of the State, Section
and National Levels has prompted these members of USTA Eastern to act in objection to the stance of their governing body.   Having viewed the promotion put forth by this
organization within the Wiregrass Area, these anonymous members of the USTA Eastern have stepped forth to offer their support in the form of 'two automobiles' which will
double the output of lessons throughout the area.  Why have they done this and why have they chosen to remain anonymous?   Well, in protest to the ill advised decision of
USTA Alabama and President Steve Sumners in not answering our response nor getting out front to support our successful "Growth Initiatives" which now boast over (500)
students; these anonymous members of USTA Eastern have acted upon their belief that all players should be welcomed into the sport of a lifetime.  This appalling refusal of
USTA Southern and USTA Alabama to support underprivileged children within the rural and inner city communities have drawn rebuke and ire from these 'tennis players' of
the USTA Eastern who viewed a non response from the governing body of the USTA Alabama and the actions of 'deterring, interfering or disrupting' underprivileged tennis
lessons as orchestrated by the "City of Dothan, Dothan Tennis Association and Enterprise Tennis Association" as a black eye to the sport.  Fully aware of the fact that this is
not, can not while standing on the promise of this will not be the USTA we all joined.  These "anonymous individuals" have taken a united stand in their attempt to show that
unlike their 'USTA Southern and USTA  Alabama' counterparts all players are welcomed in the game of tennis which is why an offering of two vehicles have been donated to
ensure that several venues will be serviced this summer. Yes, their support will enhance our (8) Week Free Tennis Lesson Clinics as well as altering the cost of gas.  Again,
their extended hand of promoting tennis is appreciated and here within the heartbeat of tennis in the Wiregrass Area, we will fulfill our purpose:  "Empowering Communities
to Play".  Hold on a minute, why have they chose to remain anonymous?    As disturbing as this sounds they hold jobs within the USTA and would like not to be the target of
retribution as there does exist those who act upon a disdain for anyone who does not look or act like them from a financial perspective.  Unfortunately true but absolute!!!!!!
SIGN UP TO PLAY TODAY!!!

Attention:  Steve Sumners

Here within the heartbeat of tennis in the
"Wiregrass Area", we are very excited to hear about the "Alabama Tennis Initiative" as your office tackles a problem throughout
the game in every state;
growth.  This problem has been confronted by this organization for the last (2) years with great success and as we enter our (3rd) year; growth will
continue.  As we support and accept your attempt at growing the game of tennis due in part to the road map of your effort being identical to that of this organization we would
be dishonest if our voice was not uplifted regarding the benefactors of this plan.  At this moment we will present you with a couple of questions and await an official response:

*  Why was there never an attempt in the past to provide scholarships to deserving players?

*  Taking the tenure of our government into consideration; why is there not a long lasting relationship in place with our area school systems?

*  Having knowledge of almost or not more than (30) existing (CTA) organizations in the state, why has "Junior Team Tennis" not been a mandate of each (CTA)?

*  After reviewing the recipients of state, southern and national grants, why does cities such as Hueytown, Foley, Gulf Shores, Huntsville, Mobile or even a county such as Baldwin
continuously receive assistance?

*  Why does municipalities such as Andalusia, Opp, Greenville, Tuskegee, Valley, Eufaula or even a county such as Pike get continuously overlooked?

*  Does the following outline explain the actions of the state, southern and national tennis governments?

* Or would the recipients of the state, southern and national USTA grant assistance be benefiting from the fact that nearly (80%) of those making the decisions are residents of
the Greater Metropolitan Areas where the grants were awarded as reflected by the following:

*  Why are our tournament directors only having productive turnouts when their are enough points to attract neighboring state players?

*  Where are our players for their grass roots tournaments?

*   Why would one municipality receive nearly ($13,000) in (2) separate USTA grants for facility improvements? Are they cash strapped?

As you can see we are very concerned about the past, present and  future direction of our government regarding growth due to overwhelming evidence that rural and inner city
municipalities will not be a recipient of your efforts.   These areas have an untapped reservoir of players as displayed by our success through
'Scholarships, PE Classwork,
After School Programs and Junior Team Tennis'
.  In the future, please attempt to consider the amount of players being left out of the tennis loop by excluding the rural and
inner city communities.  There are many tournament directors who wish you would take this advice and run with it.  They
'NEED' the players and their accompanying revenue.
Therefore, the offering of "Free Tennis Lessons" has arrived and becoming a member of Wiregrass Tennis Association will grant you access to the sport of a lifetime.   It is here
where a child can construct a foundation within the game which will serve as the building blocks of Tennis Growth.  Every participant who enters an (8) Week Free Tennis Lesson
Clinic will walk away prepared to either enjoy the recreation of the sport or pursue the competition levels of the "game we all love".  If you are an interested parent or child, please
become a member by reading the below
"Instructions" before utilizing the "Pay Now" button as you may qualify for a "Membership Fee Waiver". That said, if your child resides
in a home where
financial handicaps or disadvantages persist, please complete a "Membership Fee Waiver"  in order to be considered for a waiver of your 'Membership
Fee'
.  Every child who is granted a "Membership Fee Waiver" will be considered  for a '(52) Week Scholarship' designed to 'horn skills' constructed within the program.  Any
player can apply for a scholarship and simultaneously submit a "Membership Fee Waiver.  If approved a player will be granted a waiver and an opportunity to compete for one of
the (25) (52) Week Tennis Lesson Scholarships.  The below links all hold a pathway to membership along with an avenue to attend an (8) Week Free Tennis Lesson Clinic if you
posses a rural or inner city underprivileged child.  Thanks for taking some time to assist us in promoting the game of tennis in the Wiregrass Area and we anticipate your arrival!!

Promotion

It is here where the "excitement of the game" will be displayed.  Every participant will be
granted an opportunity to view the reasons why millions of people across the 'nation' enjoy
the sport of a lifetime. That said, tennis access will be aired within the Wiregrass Area!!!!.

Growth

Yes, during decades of tennis past many potential players have been excluded from the
game of tennis due to the high cost of tennis lessons.  Unfortunately, this occurrence has
led to a drop in participation therefore we will encourage all "potential players" to pick up
a racket as well as take up residence in the game we all love.  Surely, some will answer!!

Education

In our attempt to "promote and grow" the game of tennis,  we will input a foundation of
knowledge that will serve as tennis
'building blocks'.  This inserted insight will allow all
participants to create and instill a love of the game that will follow them beyond the given
clinics.  That's right, the ability to play and understand the game will ignite a passion that
could very well produce hundreds of future players who will promote and grow the sport!!!
TENNIS CLINIC'S MISSION
SIGN UP TO PLAY TODAY!!!

In a joint effort to promote tennis within grades (6 - 8), "Under Armour" and "Wiregrass Tennis Association" has joined forces in attempting to encourage "potential players"
to pick up the racquet within one of our several
"(8) Week Free Tennis Lesson Clinics" given throughout the "Wiregrass Area".    It is our hope that many upcoming (6th - 8th)
graders would attend one of the clinics given in an attempt to build a foundation for
"tennis growth".   "Every attending child will be granted tennis lessons" along with amenities
geared towards attracting participation.   A decision to enter the game of tennis this summer will be a choice to remember.  That said,
'if you are a parent, player or person of
interest'
of this campaign, please take advantage of an opportunity that will ensure access to the sport of a lifetime.  Yes, your child can access the game of tennis today!!!!

Promote The Game,

Wiregrass Tennis Association
Leroy Joyner

Thank you members for displaying a commitment that has now caught the eye of several national corporate companies.  In their search to make long term financial partnerships,
these corporate companies now see
"Wiregrass Tennis Association" as a 'productive component' that will continue to output young tennis players far into the future.  This
assessment of our program is due in part to your ongoing desire to give your child an opportunity to try the game of tennis. That said, we are overjoyed to announce that
"Tennis
Warehouse"
has donated nearly ($5,000) worth of clothing to our cause of 'attracting rural and inner city children to the sport of a lifetime'. Thank you "Tennis Warehouse" as
your act of support will embolden our members to continue promoting the game we love.  Members, within the
"spirit of partnerships" we are asking that  all tennis needs and
desires be forwarded to the attention of Tennis Warehouse as great deeds should always be met with return support. That's right, an extended hand should always be supported.

Promote The Game,

Wiregrass Tennis Association
Leroy Joyner
In response to this frequent asked question, the below details have been provided in order to ensure that all desiring students are afforded an opportunity to access the game we
love.
Team Tennis and Tennis Lessons will be offered in each of the following cities along with their respective times, days and locations. If you are attempting to access the
sport of a lifetime, then please utilize the listed information as the staff of Wiregrass Tennis Association awaits your arrival.  Remember, a player must first try before succeeding!

Yes, for nearly (15) months  Wiregrass Tennis Association, Inc.  in conjunction with  In Depth Academy, Inc.  have made  every attempt possible to reach children with the idea
of making tennis a
"sport for a lifetime".  Are we succeeding?   Well, according to the "number of students" being trained by In Depth Academy which stands above (500)
coupled with an "ongoing stream" of new players within our monthly "Free Tennis Lesson Clinics", the results seem very impressive after (3) years.  Under the current march
of  progress
(30) children have been awarded "Membership Scholarships" which have been granted by "In Depth Academy, Inc".    It is here within the minds and hearts of
the
before mentioned (30) scholarship players where the "foundation of tennis" will be solidified.  Having the 'privilege of being associated with a great teaching staff' will
award each player several moments in life that could become a light for those to follow just as
"past summer recipients".   That's right, there could easily be "one, two or maybe
many players"
who arise from the depths of training and go on to do great things in the game of tennis.   Is the" future of tennis" in the United States currently holding a
membership within
"Wiregrass Tennis Association, Inc."?   Well, the "upcoming months will dictate" the future as training will continue with one short term goal in mind:
Adopt diligence as a way of life and become a member within this organization's attempt to grant access to underprivileged rural and inner city children within all communities!!!!!

Attention:  Members

Now entering our
3rd year of existence, we have from the very on set established a working relationship with the local "Parks and Recreation Department", After School Programs,
PE Teachers as well as the Mayor's office when it was applicable.   These gestures have constructed a
"solid foundation" of tennis within the communities we serve which clearly
highlights us as the standard bearer of growth  within the game  we love.   This fact has never been clearer as the
"Wiregrass Area" within our tenure has reconstructed (3) existing
tennis facilities as well as the creation of a new tennis association.     If that does not ensure you that your
"hard work is paying off" then look no farther than our very own "Tennis
Government"
, USTA Alabama following lead by putting forth their attempt to grow the game called the 'Alabama Tennis Initiative'.   As you take time to read the below letter from
"Steve Sumners", President of USTA Alabama, please notate their agenda as "Identical Twins" has been born. We are excited that they have taken notice of our work and your
commitment has influenced them to make changes geared towards
'growing the game of tennis'.   Furthermore, we would like to offer our help to them in anyway as the expertise
gathered from our journey is extremely priceless.   That said, a response letter has been emailed to
Our President (as posted below) commending him for his attempt at growth but
also pleading with him to make sure that his
"growth initiatives" are not only directed towards financially stable 'enclaves' of children as his help is needed in the rural and inner city
areas more deeply.  Again, thank you for
(2) years of total commitment and we look forward to seeing you on the courts throughout the Wiregrass Area as tennis is forthcoming!!!

Is there confusion on whether your child can be considered an underprivileged potential player?  If so, then the following definition should invoke clarity:

Undeprivileged - one that has fewer economic and social privileges than others

Yes, it is official as an undeprivileged child is "one that has fewer economic and social privileges than others".   If you are a "working parent" and your bills
supersede your desire for your child then he/she is undeprivileged.  On the other hand, if you are a "non working parent" and the necessities of life engulf
all available monies then your child as well is underprivileged.  Honestly, "over
75% of the children in this nation" we call home are underprivileged.  Why?
The "cost of living from day to day outweighs our financial status" which forces every household to become "fiscally conservative" in order to survive!!!!!!
